Selket Arabians have won many awards both here and abroad. Please join us in congratulating the following horses and their owners as they compete in Halter, Performance classes, Racing, Endurance and the breeding shed ....
SELKET MARQUE (Marwan Al Shaqab x Selket Khamala)
owned by David Caines and Scott Bailey of Arabhorse.com and Stonewall Farms, Scottsdale, AZ
"I felt that Marwan El Shaqab would be a good cross on our world-class mare, Selket Khamala. When Marque was born, I was thrilled with the fact that he received Marwan's strengths and was definitely a Selket horse resembling his mother and grandfather, Furno Khamal." -- Jim Andreson.
Selket Mystery (*Furno Khamal x Mistical Lady)

Selket Kizzes
Kizzes has received her Legion of Honor award with a total 134 Legion points not including those from the Sahara Sands Show earlier this month. All of her points were completed in Dressage competitions in both Purebred Arabian and Open Dressage shows. The wins that I find most exciting are the open shows because Kizzes is only 14’ 2” & she is competitive against the Warmbloods who tower over her often beating some pretty high priced imported horses! Here’s a snapshot of her record:
- 2008 USEF Horse of the Year:
- Region 10 Reserve Champion, Arabian Dressage First Level
- Region 10 Sixth Place, Arabian Dressage Second through Fourth Level
- 2007 USEF Horse of the Year:
- Region 10 Champion, Arabian Dressage First Level
- Region 6 Champion, Arabian Dressage Training Level
- Region 6 Res. Champ, Arabian Dressage First Level
- Region 6 Sixth Place, Arabian Sport Horse
